Glendora Woman's Club Fashion Show, A Successful Fundraiser
Updated: Apr 22, 2018
GLENDORA---The Glendora Woman's Club's recent successful Fashion Show and Luncheon continues to help raise funds for the club's philanthropies and service projects, said Club President Chris Lear.
Some 125 guests attended this year's Fashion Show, with the theme "Journey to Hawaii,"" and viewed a collection of fashions from Dressbarn and Undercovers for spring and summer, special occasions, and at-home, said Fashion Show co-chairs Joy Martau and Carolyn Cunningham.
Helping to make the event a continuing success were the more than 30 clubmembers serving on the show committee, the patron sponsors, merchant donor, and member donors; the club four departments; and the platinum, gold, and silver sponsors.
Also acknowledged were the four local publications publishing the event, and the addition this year of the club's event banner on display across Glendora Avenue announcing the club's upcoming Fashion Show.
For this year's Fashion Show, each guest received a Fashion Show Program booklet for 15 pages that included the listings of participants, sponsors, and programs. Also, one page listed some of the club's philanthropies and service projects that received donations and support from the club and its four departments.
And a "Special Thanks" to clubmembers and community residents for continuing to support and club, its projects, and activities through the years, said Club President Mrs. Lear.
